HAVE MIRACLES CEASED!?! NAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

HEY! :] I enjoyed all of your emails a lot! Spencer I am so jealous of the rain.  It has been nothing but hot here! In the heat of the night, I go walking.... I'm just BURNING UP!

Anyway, Dad I think you are just like a super hero for being a Bishop!  On top of everything else.. I don't know how you do it!  Something my Mission President said is that, "it is never convenient to serve" Just remember that!  Also I really enjoyed your comments about Moroni and I loved the Pictures! Mom you're a Super Star of a mother! :) Thanks for all you do! I don't know how you manage every thing! You'll have to teach me your ways one day..!

There's not too much to report on this past week... I went on two exchanges! um like I said, it's been super warm.. too warm if ya ask me!  I dunno... the days all blend together! I think the heat is getting to people cuz  we have been meeting a lot of interesting and weird and rude people in the City of Richmond lately!  Basically, our song is the slammin screen door and the
n I just think to myself that someday I'll be living big old kingdom and all their ever gonna be is mean and that's what gets me through it! haha
Vancouver... :) Random

So miracle story.  The other day, we were at this stop light and we were the second car in the left turn lane.  Well all of the sudden the car in front of us just broke down! What.  SO this Chinese guy was very apologetic and told us to go around him.  Well, we pull up to the side of his car and I felt so bad for him! there were like fifteen cars behind us and he had his hood up and didn't know what to do! Soooooo, what did I do?! Well of course I start prayin! I figured if I stared at his engine hard enough then my laser-like determination would naturally send signals to his car and start it up! ;) ha that was the hope anyway!  So the Man turns his key and he rubs the engine and nothing happened.  With all my faith I specifically prayed that the third time he tried, it would work! So he tried the second time, nothing.  Then he tried the third time and I was just like praying SO hard and then a miracle happened! This man's car turned on! AHHHHH!!!!!!!!! He was so surprised that he didn't know what to do! Then he shut his hood and jumped in his car! The light turned green and we drove away.  Now I don't know if my prayer really started this man's car, but I'd like to think so:) I know that the power of prayer is real.  I know that God hears and answers every single one of our prayers and his power is usually exercised in response to faith.
Out to Dinner with Brad and Emily! I had Pumpkin Tomato Fish Soup.  Just Sayin :)

Can I just say that I love being a missionary!?! I love being in able to witness all the miracles that God performs! I feel like I have a front row seat.  I don't know how it gets better than this! He pulls my hand and drags me head first, FEARLESS! I love it! I love knowing that God is in the details of our lives.  He gives us miracle experiences to build our faith and strengthen our belief in Him. Usually after I go home, before I say amen, I'm asking God to play it again! I just think about the day and remember all the miracles and it helps me know without a doubt that there is a God and that I am not alone! :) I know that's true! :)  I know He loves me! I know I am a daughter of God and I know that He has a plan for me!  I hope you all have an awesome week.  You know what's next...... Be Strong and of Good courage! Remember ALL the small and simple things because those are the miracles! 1-10-15 and 3-2-1 Choose the right baby! just HOLD ON! five stars! Long Live. WORK iT!!!!!!!!!!!

Life is Full of Miracles! All day everyday BABY! :]

HAPPY 19TH BiRTHDAY SPENCER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ahhhhhhhhhhhhh.  that is so crazy. like I can't even think about it because it's just so wild ya know??

So yesterday was the confirmations of my three Recent Converts and it was awesome! The Holy Ghost is cool.

This weekend we had a Mini Missionary come stay with us and it was so much fun! She is sixteen and we saw SO many miracles while we were searching for new investigators! Like you want these things to go well because it builds their faith and strengthens their testimony so witnessing miracles was our highest priority! no pressure right? The first person she talked to was a new investigator.  Pretty awesome.  this one time we had like ten minutes left to find people to teach and we hadn't reached our goal for the day yet so we said a prayer and the next thing we knew, we were talking to a person and then he went in the house and got his two friends and all three of them became new investigators! Are you kidding me?!  God's awesome like that.

Sometimes being a missionary is overwhelming because just when you think nothing is happening, that's when everything is happening!!!! You look back and realize just how much God's hand was in the details of it all and it's pretty killer.  Well I don't know what to really say this week.  So much happened and guess what!?! Spiritual stuff makes ya tired. I've received a lot of revelation this weekend as well as inspiration and my mind has been enlightened concerning God's Plan of Happiness!  I know His plan is true!  I know that God is my Father in Heaven and that I have the potential to become like Him!  I know he provided me a Savior to help me achieve exaltation!  I know Jesus Christ is that Savior and the only way back to the Father.  I can not wait to be with my Family forever in the Kingdom of God! I know God Loves me and that I am his Daughter! I hope you're all doing fabulous! If you didn't have the best week last week, well then this is your week! :)

Be Strong and of a Good Courage! Remember that by small and simple things are great things brought to pass. Haters gonna hate. Aligators gonna aligate! Choose the right! Keep calm and Carry on cuz truth will prevail baby  1-10-15 & 3-2-1 five stars! long live the walls we crashed through! WORK iT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Rock-Like Faith.

Hey There! :) So Spring is in the Air and there is nothing like Spring in British Columbia! It is so pretty and green and there are flowers everywhere! I love it!

So, I got to see so many miracles this week. It. was. insane.
A huge miracle I saw was this inactive mother (since she was fifteen) and her three little boys came to church! Oh man.  We have been visiting her for over a month and how she was found in the first place is a miracle. (she is not on the ward list) She doesn't have a car and she lives 20 minutes south of the Church in South Delta which is obviously a different town and taking the bus would take forever! (tunnel, freeway, traffic little kids, etc.) So we managed to have the sweetest elderly lady who had a van give her and her boys a ride and Saturday night we drove all over the place to find/borrow three car seats from members so her boys could be safe! All I can Say is that if there is a will, there is a way.  Even if it means driving a half hour east of Richmond to pick up seats then driving back down to South Delta before church.  It is a testimony to me of how important Church attendance is!

So Earlier in the week I remember having a thought that I wish I had the kind of faith the scriptures talk about.. ya know.. like Unshaken Faith that could move mountains and all that...
Well Anyways, Yesterday we went and visited with an older couple in the ward.  The Wife is super active and the Husband is super inactive and very anti.  Well, As we visited and listened to all their funny old people jokes,  The husband kept making rude comments about the church.  He said things like, "there is no other book but the bible" or "The Book of Mormon is made up and Joseph Smith was crazy! There is no way he had visions! or saw God and Jesus Christ! He was fourteen!"...blah..blah..blah  or "the Nephities aren't real!" and on and on he went.  Hearing all this isn't new to me..  In fact I hear stuff like this all day everyday, but I don't let it bug me.  Well  the Husband was relentless and he just would not stop and it finally got to the point where I couldn't stand it anymore.  Much to his dislike, We shared a spiritual thought and we had one prepared and ready, but I decided to read 2 Nephi 29 6-14 instead.  We usually go around and each read a verse, but as I began to read, I couldn't stop, and the more I read, the Louder I got, and the more powerful I felt.  When I finished Reading, I testified in the name of Jesus Christ that the Book of Mormon was the Word of God, and that Joseph Smith was a Prophet of the Lord, and that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is the only true church on the Earth today.  When I finished speaking, there was silence and at that moment it occurred to me that I do have unshaken faith and the Husband couldn't think of what to say and didn't have any way to attack my testimony because he felt the Spirit and the things I preached were true.

It reminds me of the Scripture in Helaman 5 verse 12... "And now , my sons (and Daughters), remember, remember that it is upon the rock of our Redeemer, who is Christ, the Son of God, that ye must build your foundation: that when the devil shall send forth his mighty winds, yea, his shafts in the whirlwind, yea, when all his hail and mighty storm shall beat upon you, it shall have no power over you to drag you down to the gulf of misery and endless wo, because of the rock upon which ye are built, which is a sure foundation, a foundation whereon if men build, they cannot fall."

Jesus Christ is my rock and my salvation and no one can mess with that.  Be strong and of good courage. remember the small and simple things.  1-10-15 and 3-2-1 WORK iT!!!!!!!! five stars! Long live.  keep calm and carry on. have rock-like faith! :)

Miracle after Miracle:]

HeY. Hi. HeLLo. So the Reason Why I am emailing today instead of yesterday is because we got to go to the temple today! OH MY GOODNESS IT WAS SO GREAT! let me tell ya. I love my Langley Temple:) felt like I was right at home seein it.

We are actually still in Langley because we are going to Brad and Loretta's for Dinner! :) YaY! Never thought I'd be emailing in this library again though... ha it's weird to be in the area cuz it's all just so normal and comfortable to me! Like I can't explain it..!

My District Sista's
OH HEY-O! I GOT HANNAH AND COYE'S LETTERS!!!
WOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THANK YOU! LOVED THEM!:]
You can just send letters to the mission office cuz we drop by a lot! :)

Anyway Sister Struempler and I had the craziest week of miracles of my life! like oh my heck.  I do not even know where to begin! SO MANY MIRACLES! Well first off we finally moved into our apt. It is a set of Elders old apartment and it was disgusting.  We spent five hours cleaning the Kitchen and one hour on the Tub alone! GAh. so nasty.  I'm gonna miss my Chinese Sista's.. ha

So let's talk miracles. So last Saturday we were out street contacting it up when a man covered in Tattoos was walking our way! Of course we stopped him and started up a convo.  Turns out he is a Mormon! WHAAAT? this happens all the time I swear. So we get talking and he has like brother's who are active Bishops and family who go, but he has been inactive since he was 14 because he saw his teacher's quorum Leader Smoking and it shook him.  SO SAD.  Well, we asked if the Elders could come visit him since he is a male and he was like, "actually could you come teach my two little girls?" ahhh. They are ages 8 and 12 and we went and visited them last night and I already love them! SO that was a huge miracle. I am so excited and happy for this family and I know they will one day be sealed in the temple.

Another huge miracle that happened this weekend was while we were finding.  So Sunday night we had a huge rainstorm and it was just wild.  Right before we got out of the car to go finding, we said a prayer and asked that someone would let us in out of the rain so we can teach them about the restored gospel.  Well, we got out and the weather was ridiculous.  We looked like Mary Poppins getting blown around with our umbrella's! So the third door we knocked on was this Chinese Lady named Kaddy.  Before we could even say who we were or anything she was like, "Come in!" So we went in and she took our umbrella's and laid them out to dry and she got us these slippers to wear and told us to sit down on the couch and than she got us hot water.  We told her we were missionaries and she said she knows.  Her English was very poor, but she was incredibly kind!  We started talking and she told us that she also attends a Jesus Christ church.. She then went and got a small piece of paper with the address of her church.  Turns out it is The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints! WHAT?! ha We have a Chinese Branch so we thought she was member of that, but nope.  She has been attending the Saturday Morning English classes provided by the Chinese-Speaking Missionaries and she thought that was church! haha so cute.  They always start off class with a hymn and a prayer and she was so excited to tell us that she never knew how to pray, but the Elders taught her how and that it was like a hamburger! haha start-middle-end.  haha She went on to say how she always feels peace when they sing the song.  We very simply taught her the Restortation and now she wants a Book of Mormon in her language and said missionaries could come back.  It was such a miracle. I know the Lord answers prayer and that he loves Kaddy.

My One Year Mark! :)
Well I have to go, but I love you all so much! thanks for all the support and love! You are the greatest and I am so happy to know you! Can you believe it's been a year?! ahh. I can't even describe what I think of it all.  It's just unbelievable. I hope you are all reading your scriptures EVERYDAY and praying and I hope you are happy! :)
