I sure hope ya'll are having a great day!
Attitude of Gratitude baby!

Well this past week was so Fabulous. LEt mE tell Ya!  We got to go to the Temple and it was SO SO SO good! I was dying.  Temples are da bomb! ha Sis Tingson and I were in heaven as we chatted back and forth in the Celestial Room about all our insights! man. I could have talked all. day. long! so good.
After a long day with my Mini-Missionary (from the start of my mission)
Today is Sister Tingson's Birthday by the way! HollA.

I had my last Zone Meeting on Friday.  I didn't even realize that until I was asked to bear my testimony.  I didn't know what to say cuz you know me, I like to talk, so I already gave all my thoughts throughout the meeting ha ha.

Breakfast

Yesterday Sister Tingson and I both had to speak in Sacrament.  WE WERE SO NERVOUS! the place was packed!  8 Converts were there, a handful of Less-Actives, an Investigator, the Stake President, and OUR MISSION PRESIDENT AND HIS WIFE! are you kidding me. no pressure right?? Needless to say, it was full house!  Well our talks went awesome!  tears were shed. hearts were touched. lives were changed! :P  Dad I hope you don't mind, but I used one of your stories in a talk you gave! ha it was a hit! a crowd pleaser for sure! So uh.. thanks!  :)  All week long I have just been thinking about how good God is to me! Really I just feel so blessed. He is just SO, SO, SO Good to me! Like ahh! I love Him!

Food, Glorious Food
I am trying to think of good stories for you.... um we went out to dinner with these recent converts in the ward to celebrate that he got a calling! It was fun and it helped me remember that the small and simple things really make the greatest difference in a person's life! SO make sure those small and simple things are good and positive and uplifting!

I love you all like CraZy! WORK iT!!!! be strong and of a good courage! XOXOXOXO five stars!

True Happiness:]

Dear Family!  So much happened this past week and describing it to you in an email just does not give it justice!  You'll have to wait till I get home for me to better share my spiritual experiences, but for now, I will try my best!

Merle & Babs
On Tuesday, I had the Honor and Privilege of driving with My Mission President and Wife (President and Sister Tilleman) out to the Temple View Chapel in Langley (which is where Brookswood is) and we got to visit with My Recent Convert Merle and his Wife Babs (who are preparing to be endowed and sealed in the Temple in August!!!!) Along with Bishop and Sister Towns and it was a meeting I will never forget!  The Spirit was so strong and I was SO happy!

After that, We went across the parking lot to the Temple and watched My Friend Brad get Endowed!!!
Brad - Endowment
His Baptism was the first one I saw on my mission one year ago last Sunday!  Being in there with all my Brookswood Friends was such an indescribable blessing and experience!  I didn't even focus the entire time because I was just so happy to be with all those people I love! It was like coming home:)  The drive back to Richmond that night was one I will never forget! I love The Tilleman's more than words could ever express! They changed my life forever.

On Wednesday, they joined us for Emily and her son Brad's final lesson/interview before their baptism and it was great!

Thursday, We had an incredible Zone Conference with the Tilleman's and I know the church is true because of them.

Friday was a very special day... After visiting one of my other converts in Brookswood, we had the opportunity to go back to the Temple and watch Brad, who was just endowed, and his Wife Loretta, get Sealed for Time and ALL Eternity!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Brad & Loretta - Temple Sealing
It was A-MAZ-ING! I've never witnessed a sealing before and the fact that my first one got to be those two... Well it's something I'm gonna cherish for a very, very long time! I gave Brad a tie when he got endowed and he wore it after the Sealing! :) Just sayin.. All my Brookswood Family was there and afterward I got to hang out with them for a bit and I LOVE them!

Brookswood Friends
They are some of the best Saints I've ever met. I feel so humbled that I can call them mine haha:) I just feel love when I'm with them and they emulate Christ to a tee. They make me want to be better and they make me happy! :]

Just when you think the week couldn't get any better, Yesterday three of our friends got baptized!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Maricel was baptized by her husband and Emily&Brad were baptized by President Tilleman! We taught and prepared each of these incredible souls over the last several weeks and I was SOOOO excited for them! They are different from each other and that is what makes them unique.  Emily wore all these white pearls when she got baptized and it was so pretty! ha we are talking, earing, rings, necklaces, headbands, bracelets, heels! The whole Sha-Bang and it was so cute! Brad swam to the stair after he was baptized... haha so funny!  I love hearing about what they think and how they feel after they're baptized.. for example, Maricel said that she felt all clean and fresh and pure and that is what Emily Said too! it's almost the best part of the whole thing! Just to see how happy they are.. plus the way you feel Spirit so strong during the service.. well it's just the best!
Tillemans, Emily & Brad, Maricel

This was most likely the best week of my entire mission and my heart is full of gratitude towards My Savior Jesus Christ.  I know He Lives and I know that it's only through Him that we can be cleansed from sin.  I know that each ordinance I witnessed this week is from God and vital for our Salvation.  I know God's plan is real. I know He loves His Children! Everything I Witnessed this past week is evidence of that.  I know that I am a member of the only true church on the face of the planet.  I know that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and that we are all family.  It was one year ago TODAY that I had my first baptism (who was my dear friend Karen) and my testimony of The Atonement, God's Plan, His Church, The Book of Mormon, My Redeemer, and all the Principles and Ordinances of the Gospel have grown so much since then.  I am so happy I chose to serve a mission.  I am so happy I am a Daughter of God.  I am so happy for everything! The good outweighs the bad and it is worth it! It is worth it to go through the trials and pains and sufferings and afflictions!  It is worth it to stand as a witness of God at all times and in all things and in all places! It is worth it to be a Latter-Day Saint! The life you are given is worth it to find true happiness!

Always Taking Care of Me :)

So Hold On! Be Strong and of Good Courage! Remember the Small and Simple things! Do the 1-10-15 and 3-2-1! Keep Calm and Carry on because truth will prevail!

Miracle after Miracle:]

HeY. Hi. HeLLo. So the Reason Why I am emailing today instead of yesterday is because we got to go to the temple today! OH MY GOODNESS IT WAS SO GREAT! let me tell ya. I love my Langley Temple:) felt like I was right at home seein it.

We are actually still in Langley because we are going to Brad and Loretta's for Dinner! :) YaY! Never thought I'd be emailing in this library again though... ha it's weird to be in the area cuz it's all just so normal and comfortable to me! Like I can't explain it..!

My District Sista's
OH HEY-O! I GOT HANNAH AND COYE'S LETTERS!!!
WOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THANK YOU! LOVED THEM!:]
You can just send letters to the mission office cuz we drop by a lot! :)

Anyway Sister Struempler and I had the craziest week of miracles of my life! like oh my heck.  I do not even know where to begin! SO MANY MIRACLES! Well first off we finally moved into our apt. It is a set of Elders old apartment and it was disgusting.  We spent five hours cleaning the Kitchen and one hour on the Tub alone! GAh. so nasty.  I'm gonna miss my Chinese Sista's.. ha

So let's talk miracles. So last Saturday we were out street contacting it up when a man covered in Tattoos was walking our way! Of course we stopped him and started up a convo.  Turns out he is a Mormon! WHAAAT? this happens all the time I swear. So we get talking and he has like brother's who are active Bishops and family who go, but he has been inactive since he was 14 because he saw his teacher's quorum Leader Smoking and it shook him.  SO SAD.  Well, we asked if the Elders could come visit him since he is a male and he was like, "actually could you come teach my two little girls?" ahhh. They are ages 8 and 12 and we went and visited them last night and I already love them! SO that was a huge miracle. I am so excited and happy for this family and I know they will one day be sealed in the temple.

Another huge miracle that happened this weekend was while we were finding.  So Sunday night we had a huge rainstorm and it was just wild.  Right before we got out of the car to go finding, we said a prayer and asked that someone would let us in out of the rain so we can teach them about the restored gospel.  Well, we got out and the weather was ridiculous.  We looked like Mary Poppins getting blown around with our umbrella's! So the third door we knocked on was this Chinese Lady named Kaddy.  Before we could even say who we were or anything she was like, "Come in!" So we went in and she took our umbrella's and laid them out to dry and she got us these slippers to wear and told us to sit down on the couch and than she got us hot water.  We told her we were missionaries and she said she knows.  Her English was very poor, but she was incredibly kind!  We started talking and she told us that she also attends a Jesus Christ church.. She then went and got a small piece of paper with the address of her church.  Turns out it is The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints! WHAT?! ha We have a Chinese Branch so we thought she was member of that, but nope.  She has been attending the Saturday Morning English classes provided by the Chinese-Speaking Missionaries and she thought that was church! haha so cute.  They always start off class with a hymn and a prayer and she was so excited to tell us that she never knew how to pray, but the Elders taught her how and that it was like a hamburger! haha start-middle-end.  haha She went on to say how she always feels peace when they sing the song.  We very simply taught her the Restortation and now she wants a Book of Mormon in her language and said missionaries could come back.  It was such a miracle. I know the Lord answers prayer and that he loves Kaddy.

My One Year Mark! :)
Well I have to go, but I love you all so much! thanks for all the support and love! You are the greatest and I am so happy to know you! Can you believe it's been a year?! ahh. I can't even describe what I think of it all.  It's just unbelievable. I hope you are all reading your scriptures EVERYDAY and praying and I hope you are happy! :)

Be strong and of Good Courage Yo. Remember that by small and simple things are great things brought to pass.  1-10-15 & 3-2-1 Baby.  five stars! Long Live! Keep it Calm and Carry it On! Above all else, WORK iT!! :]

8 Months Down baby! Check.

Well hello Family! How are ya all doing?! great I bet.

So news of the Week, not much. haha no jk lets see..  So yesterday was my 8 month mark! Wait What!?! Now that is just wild.  EIGHT MONTHS. daannnnggggg.  that's a long time right?!  I know I know.  crazy.  There is this one lady in our ward who is about to give birth, and I was here when she found out she was pregnant! yeah..

I've seen SO many miracles these past few months and I am so grateful that I chose to go on a mission.  It has been the greatest decision that I've ever made for my life.  I feel like a whole different person, but then I feel mostly the same too! it's kinda funny.

Well, Yesterday Merle finally received the Priesthood so that was pretty cool!

um I got Whit and Parkers Wedding Announcement and I'm pretty sure Parker has longer hair than me! ;)

On Saturday we had this Relief Society Project that was really fun! for months the women have been sewing these Hygiene Kits for girls in other countries, and we had this assembly line and we put everything together and I, personally, put the draw strings through all the bags that had been sown and it was really fun to be a part of.  I've always loved doing service projects.  It makes me feel so good. Every time. Without Fail. I just love it!

Sorry this is going to be a shorter email. Not lots of time.  I'm Really excited for this Saturday because there is this lady named Karen in our ward (different Karen than all the other Karen's I swear) who is going through the Temple for the first time in her whole Life and I get to go with her! ahhhh!!!!!!!! I was originally going to be her escort possibly, but Sis. Ozorio the Relief Society President is going to be it! the reason we get to go is because well kay, so When I first got here, She was one of the very first people that I Actually met and She was barely becoming active again.  She is married to a non-member and had spent years inactive.  Well I love her. We visited a lot and I went to the Temple Prep classes with her clear in the Spring.  Well she was suppose to go through the Temple long ago, but over the summer, The adversary got in the way and all these crazy things happened. it was stress-sad.  So about a month or so ago, I went over to her house (which is a miracle story for another time) and I sat her down and I was real bold and straight forward and just like Karen it's time.  She knew it.  God knew it.  I knew it.  So I set up the interviews, got her the support she needed from some special individuals in the ward and now here we are.  Now, I am not saying that she is going through because of me, But I know that I helped her a lot and I know that she is one of the reasons why I'm in the Langley Area.  I know I was suppose to be a part of this somehow even though it has nothing to do with me and most people don't know how much I love this lady!  So yeah... I will not be getting a baptism in October like I had hoped for and promised, But I am going to get the opportunity to watch someone that I care so much about recieve her saving ordainances! I feel so humbled and blessed.  Really this is what it is all about.  It is about bringing souls unto Christ.  It is about mourning with those that mourn and comforting those that stand in need of comfort.  It's about being there for one onther.  It's about loving everyone and never ever EVER giving up! It's about trusting in the Lord and about focusing on the positive.  It's about always looking up and always looking for opportunities to serve! It's about so much that I can't hardly take it in.

The purpose of life it to gain experiences and bodies and become like our God.  Life is to be cherished, not wasted.  I love this life I was given..  I love the people in my life and I love the things I've gone through that have made me the person I am today.  I love being a daughter of God.  I love serving him.  I love putting my name tag on every morning.  I love LOVE!

I know that it's all true ya know?? like how can it not be true?! I've never been so sure of anything in my life.  I could go on and on, but My time is far spent.  I love you all so much and I am looking forward to the day when I can say that to your sweet faces! please remember the small and simple things and hey, be strong and of good courage! Life is good. Long live the walls we've crashed through!

1-10-15 five stars! 3-2-1.  keep calm and carry on.  WORK iT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
doubt the doubts!

Temple Day

Hey! Sorry I am emailing today instead of yesterday! It is cuz I got to go to the temple today! Ahhhh. It was just the most amazing thing in the whole wide world! I walked away with so many new questions.  In fact, while I was there, I was starting to get stressed out and anxious by things that I don't understand.  I just wish my Daddy was here and could explain it all to me.  Because of the recent changes in the Temple, I was also able to better understand some things too! So, That was so great! There is this lady in our Ward named Sister Andrews and she is a Ward missionary and she comes out with us pretty much every other day and she basically lives at the temple! Well, She had a ton of names for us so I handed them out to all the Sisters in our Zone and yeah! I love that lady so much! She is like our Grandma out here.

Yesterday was Canada's Thanksgiving! We had Thanksgiving dinner on Saturday at the Boden's and Sunday at Brad and Loretta's!  Oh, man.  The food tasted so good.  Thanksgiving is not as big a deal up here.  It is more so to celebrate the fall.  None the less, I had everyone tell me what they were thankful for and it was really nice.

The weather has been really enjoyable up here lately, which has been nice!  All the trees are changing colors and it is just so pretty! I love it! I received Mollie's letter last P-Day.  LOVED IT WITH ALL MY HEART! thank you! Love ya child.  Last week I was a bit sick.  I was just having really bad headaches that would not go away! Luckily they are gone now so no worries! Sister Boden gave me your email mom and dad! Thank ya lots.  I'm the same old same old, but more hopeful.  Oh, so the other day I had a frozen hot chocolate at Dairy Queen and let's just say that Canada doesn't know how to make them.  Utah knows what's up. Nuff Said.

WHITNEY IS GETTING MARRIED THIS WEEK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! right? that is just so dang exciting! my little girl is all grown up! sniff.  :')

I am trying to think of something exciting to tell you but I don't know what! I got a blessing when I was sick by two cool guys in our ward.. um.. oh I went on exchanges to the Langley YSA with Sister Pavone last week and it was so much fun! Ok, so they cover all of the Lower Mainland and so we drove out to this city called Abbotsford which is what Stake we are in and it's about 45 minutes away.  Well, this place is so confusing.  The streets aren't numbered, they just all have names so if you get lost you're doomed.  Well, It was way dark and we had to head home, so we were on our way and mind you, we don't know the area.  Well, we made it to the freeway and we're like, "YEAH! WOO! WE MADE IT! AHHH!!!" high fiving it up and bones all around and what not! So, we are driving down the road and we look to the left and there is this fence along side of us and on the other side was the freeway and we were just driving parallel to it on some random street. what.  I turned to Sister Pavone and I was like,  --___-- ,  I take that back. haha it was funny, ok....I guess you had to be there.  Don't Worry, we eventually made it home! It was eventful though.  I was still sick and then we both got car sick. Great.  haha  So we had to pull over for a bit.  it was funny though.  I love the YSA sisters.  We are always laughing.

Every single Sunday without fail, the Bishop calls people up to bear their testimony.  Well, I got called up and I bore it on the Apostles and Prophets and how I got to shake Elder Ballard's hand.  It was really good, not gonna lie! I just know those men were called of God and I know the things which they speak are true.  I love being a member of this church.  I know that this is Jesus Christ's church and no one else.  I love all the Prophets we've ever had in the church! I love being a missionary and I know there is no greater work and duty than to preach the gospel! I want you all to remember to keep things small and simple and be strong and of good courage!

WORK iT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
1-10-15 and 3-2-1.  <<----oh my heck I love that.  five stars!
Keep calm and carry on!
Truth will Prevail!
Love ya all!
Long live!

CRAZY WEEK!

So first off I am so sorry that I am emailing today and not yesterday!  Our p-day got switched around because we got to go to the Temple today! ahhh. I love that place. We are so lucky.  Some missionaries have never even seen the temple so I feel very blessed to get to just see it two to three times a week!

SO TRANSFERS! I am still in Brookswood. Ha surprise, surprise.  BUT! I am training a greenie straight from the MTC!  Her name is  Sister Gale.  She is 22 and from Delta, Utah.  She is super sweet.  Scared to death of going tracting and making phone calls, but she is very nice.  She is your typical small town girl mormon.  She has this fancy machine thing that cleans her gums! so cool. let me tell ya. got to get me one of those! ;)

SO transfers were absolutely amazing.  I just loved them so so so so much.  I feel so spiritually uplifted after.  It was funny, we were all sitting on the back row of the chapel and President walks in and so we all stand up and he started to shake our hands and he goes, hi, hi, hi, hi, congratulations, hi, hi, hi, hi. Ha he said that when he got to me.  I was like, oh hey thanks haha. funny. guess you had to be there.  Being at these meetings is just like one big reunion. I love seeing my sisters! It's the best.  During this one part, President made Sister Willmore get up and bare her testimony and I just was so proud of her! like so proud.  So, of course I start to cry, and the whole time I'm just smiling as wide as I can at her, and after she sat down, President begins to talk in front of like 200 missionaries and he said something like, "Sister Petersen is just sitting there with tear-filled eyes, a little nervous for training. She's gonna do great!" ha what?! as Josie would say, "no no no no no!" I was crying tears of joy cuz of my sissy willmore! So, then I had to reassure my new comp that I am so, not nervous to train! which I'm not! I mean I know the area like the back of my hand.  I love my Brookswood.  I know how to find people and what to say and all that and if not, the Lord will help me no doubt.  I mean, yeah it is kinda A LOT of pressure because everything depends on me, and my knowledge, but I am trying to just keep it real, real simple and be super focused on setting a good example for my new greenie.  I'm not being prideful..I'm faking it until I make it..So let's just say I am doing amazing! :) ha.  Sister's Conference was also amazing! There are like forty plus sister missionaries now! It's amazing.  We had so many great insights and guidance.  I don't think I ever mentioned that Elder Christensen of the Seventy oversees this area and he works with President Tilleman a lot! He and his wife spoke to us and it was really good.  We just met in the RS room and it made it so much better.  Like so cozy.  We sang "As Sisters in Zion" and I don't know if you've heard the new one with more verses added, and what not, and they changed the words a bit, but it is beautiful.  I couldn't even finish singing because I was so choked up! ahh. so good.

SOO let's see.... None of our investigators came to church and I just about Raged.  JUST COME TO CHURCH DANG IT! so frustrating.  We teach the GP class and its just full of recent converts and investigators, and the ward missionaries, and its fun.  The Elders teach every other week.  Sometimes the members get too detailed about stuff and they don't keep it simple, so that's aco taco, but other than that, it is fun.  The Elders had this real old couple come they are teaching and I bore my testimony about the atonement and cried.  After, they were like, "Thank You for Your Testimony" and it was so simple, but so powerful and I just know that our efforts are not wasted.  Even though we feel like we repeat ourselves a lot, and we have the same testimony we always share, you never know who is going to be affected by it.  I know he was sincere when he told me that.

Oh so we have this one Investigator who is from Czech Republic.  I told her about Spencer obviously, and so now we are in.  Thanks bro.  Oh, and I am feeling lots better health-wise just to let you know! I am doing good. just drinking lots of water and getting real sick of crackers! ha. I have medicine I take that helps! But no more pain for me! yay.

Oh, so this week our stake has trek but it's not trek, it's Moroni's Quest.  I don't have time to explain but they have been working really hard and basically reenacting the Book of Mormon.  Sweet.  It sounds really cool. We can't go. Such a bummer.
So, Things are going well.  We do lots of tracting.  We see lots of miracles.
Life is good.  I love being a missionary. just saying.
I just gotta smile and laugh when everything is a joke.
That is all I can do.

So last week dad told me about this part in the temple where he got emotional, so I got emotional at that part too.  Then after, when we were going to the changing room, this lady in our ward, who I love, named sister Andrews, pulled us into one of the sealing rooms and made me look at the mirrors.  It was beautiful and I know that my family is going to be together forever.  I saw it.  I love the Temple.  Today the spirit was so strong.

Oh one more thing, I hope girls camp went well! I know it probably wasn't as good without Me and Tar there but I hope you were still able to manage!
haha, just kidding. ha, nope i'm not.
Girls camp is where it is at.

Anyway, I love you all so much and I hope you are doing well.  I don't have time to write letters today.  Work iT for me! Oh, Mollie your story you wrote me about trek was just a tear jerker.  ha I love you!
k by small and simple things are great things brought to pass! BE STRONG AND OF GOOD COURAGE! 5 stars! work it! :) 1-10-15

HOW GREAT THOU ART!

HEY Hi HELLO!

So this week has been pretty fun! We have just been driving back and forth between areas so it has been kind of crazy! Our Apt in Brookswood is on a busy street where as the apt in Maple Ridge is in a basement, in a residential neighborhood area. So in the mornings, if we are in Maple Ridge, we go outside and run! It's the best, I love it! I always think of Dad running and I wear his running shirt! in Brookswood there are no mountains.  In Maple Ridge we are closer to the mountains!

Trevor wanted all these details about the area and stuff and appts and lessons and the people and I'm sorry, but things have been really hard and it's not my fault. I'm sorry I have no cool stories and I don't give details.  Things will get better I promise. I'm really sorry though. I don't mean to let you down.  I'm trying my best.  When we have lessons and appts and all that, I'll let you know. I'm working on it. The reason I haven't had time to email is because so much had been going on with my last companion that I had to spend all the time emailing my president. I mean, she went home. That doesn't just happen. So I'm really sorry. It makes me sick to think that I don't get as much time to contact you guys. There were some major things I had to take care of that could not be ignored.

Maple Ridge is booming though. We had a lesson with an investigator at the temple in the waiting room and it was so so good. The spirit was so strong. We talked about families and temples, duh, and the holy ghost and scriptures and prayer and the importance of church attendance and it was really really really good!!  That is the first lesson I've really had with an investigator and I did a good job.  I talked a lot, but it was all led by the spirit. Afterwards my companions were like SISTER PETERSEN YOU DID SO GOOD! YOU WERE JUST PULLING THINGS OUT LEFT AND RIGHT AND RELATING THEM SOOO WELL! I was like psh. no big deal. haha just kidding. I don't notice till after if I have done a good job or not! I'm real critical of my teaching and knowledge though! We said a kneeling prayer in the temple and I asked the investigator to offer it.. dynamite. So, we had an appt with her actually before this and I talked about families and I talked about that one time when we all whistled and how we need to just enjoy the moments and than I related it to temples and it was great! boom baby. I love my family. enough said.

So, there is the cutest girl named Sierra in my ward who is thirteen and a couple weeks ago we had dinner and all I talked about was Oskar! ha so they are getting married. Thought you should know.  Yesterday at church she added him on facebook. ha it was great.  Then, I had dinner with some investigators in Maple Ridge last week and the whole time I just talked about Mollie to the fifteen year old boy! ha it was so funny. SOooo they are getting married as well. Then Yesterday we had dinner at a members home who has a seventeen year old daughter! as you can imagine Spencer's name was brought up a couple of times! no big deal. They'll probably just date but not get married! Then there is My comp Sister Saal! I always tell her that I want her to be my sister in law sooo.... Trevor.. she is a great catch!! ;) ;) ;) ;)

As for me, I am doing alright! You know, I'm just hanging in there and trying to take things one step at a time. I really am trying not to think about the future because it just overwhelms me. I did want to talk to you about something though and I don't know how to explain it.. Basically, these last two or three weeks,  I feel so much love and gratitude and thankfulness for the gospel and what Jesus Christ did for me that I can't even function! I have a lump in my throat all the time. ALL THE TIME! Like I feel sooooo blessed that I just walk around feeling like this emotional wreck. I feel like those people in the scriptures who when they repent or something, they become paralyzed and can't move for three days because they are so overcome with the spirit! That's how I feel! I feel like I can't work because I'm so overwhelmed by the glory and amazement of it all! Then I start to feel really guilty. I hate that Jesus Christ had to go through all my pains and sufferings. I hate it. I feel so bad. I sometimes just hate myself for it. I wish he didn't have to. It makes me sick when I think about it. I just don't understand. Why me ya know.. like why out of all the spirits in the universe did I get to come to this world? The same world that our Savior came to and the same world that will be the celestial kingdom. What did I do to deserve this? I don't feel all that special. I feel like I'm not perfect enough to be here. I know that nobody is perfect, but it's like I make so many mistakes and I just don't want to take this life I have for granted. So, I am really struggling with my self worth I guess. I wish Jesus didn't have to suffer. It breaks my heart. how can I feel happy that he did that for me? I just want to make sure that I am showing my love enough and that I am doing everything right. So when I am not perfect at something, I get frustrated. So how do I deal with the power of it all? ahh. just what should I do? I can't just brush my feelings aside because that's like denying everything you know? I can't explain it. You know the Hymn, How Great Thou Art? wow. What a tear jerker.  That one line.. "I scarce can take it in" That describes me perfectly! That's how I feel! We sang this song and I was just like, dang.

So tonight we are getting transfer calls and than transfers are Thursday. I will probably stay in Brookswood and be trained more.  I think Sister Dean will train in Maple Ridge and Sister Saal will come with me to Brookswood.  I also think it would be cool if we got put into another tri with a brand new missionary! I know what I'm doing, but I still need training I think because we are white washing Brookswood.

I loved your emails by the way.  they were great.  I loved your pictures Trevor! they wouldn't go big though! anywho, OH! So I have a lot of ideas for Brian Carter About missionary stuff! ya know cuz of his job? yeah well I'll have to talk to him when I get home. Also, you should tell him that if he ever needs me to sample anything, than I WOULD LOVE TOO! so just send me stuff! haha :) and tell Quentin Carter that I say Hi! and Tell Josie that we are BEST FRIENDS FOREVER! and that I sing Taylor Swift in the shower everyday! she is still one of my all time favorite heroes. What an inspiratioN!

kay before I go, do you want to know what I was thinking about the other day.. remember when I walked in and after the age change announcement was made and I told you I was going to serve a mission? that was a great moment.  Dad was beaming with pride. Mom was crying. Oskar was freaking Out. Mollie was in Shock. And I was just a standing there in a Holy Place. I love that memory. what do you remember and think about it?
alright well I love you all very much! thanks for everything! I feel your love, support, and prayers every single day.  I have the best family in the world! That includes/is the slacks, stowers, and first ward! what day is john getting married? alright I gotta go! remember that by small and simple things are great things brought to pass! 1-10-15! I LOVE YOU! WORK iT!! 5 stars! CtR! catch the wave fools.

February 20, 2012 - Today we took Jaynanne to the MTC.  We stopped at Zupas for lunch and then headed over to the Provo Temple, which is across the street from the MTC.  We took pictures and walked down to the MTC together for a few more pictures.  The sign in front of the MTC is no longer there :(  We all loaded into our Denali, 10 of us, so we could go thru the drive-up drop-off.  You are only allowed one car :)
