So this past week was pretty mediocre like what Spencer said! I lost my planner and I thought I was going to die.  I am so sad still about that! gah.  Um, I was told like three times this week that I was a power house... what does that even mean? ha I don't even know.. apparently I'm gonna have a list of requirements for my husband-to-be and if they don't make the cut, their out! ha or so my Jamaican investigator says!

So last P-day Sis S and I had the must delicious food! like oh my heck. Kay so we like to go to the Mall food Court cuz it's huge and its all this Asian food right? SO we got this sweet and sour potato dish and it was so dang good! ahh. just saying.  I love serving here! I love all the different people that live here in Richmond! It is so fun.  

Two days ago we knock on this guys door and he opens and just smiled, shrugged, and was all, "Chinese" hahaha it was so funny! I was like YOU'RE KILLING ME!!!!!!!!!! I mean granted some of them don't understand but most of them do so they will tell us they don't speak English and then we have a minute conversation with them in English. it kills me.  

Anyway, I hope everything is going well at home and I hope you are all reading your scriptures lots and praying it up!! :) Me and my comp will read a random chapter together from the Book of Mormon every now and than and I love it! The scriptures are SO real and good.  Everything about the Church of Jesus Christ is just flat out good. How in the world could it not be true?

Dare to be a Mormon

Hello everyone!!!!!  Well This email is gonna be kinda short... I loved all your emails! :) Mollie you looked SO beautiful for Prom! :] LOVED, LOVED, LOVED the dress!  I GOT MY PACKAGE! thank you Mom! very needed. 

So this past week I was still sick dang it so that was a bummer.  No worries, I am on the mend!  It may sound like I'm sick all the time but I'm honestly not! I swear! I just don't think I ever fully get better ya know? Anyway... Not much happened this week because of that... I Watched this movie on the Salt Lake City Temple and it was way good.   Right now I am in the Richmond Library and it's so huge! I love it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  it was a glasses week all week. 

Sister Struempler and I have been teaching this lady named Brenda and she always tells us that we are so high on Christ. haha it's funny.. She's seriously pretty crazy, but I love her and she has a good heart! For example, there is this lady in the ward who is in the hospital right now and the Relief Society asked the Sisters to go visit her so Brenda has gone twice! haha I'm glad she feels comfortable to do that.  That is what I love about our church, You just feel good when you are there and the church makes you want to be a better person. I've seen it so many times on my mission and in my life where peoples hearts change the more they come to church and magnify their callings.  You can't help but see them glowing with the Light of Christ! I love it! 

So today is March 10th and I'll always remember this day as the Day that Trevor entered the MTC for his Mission.  I'll never forget it.  I am so grateful for him and his example and I am so grateful for the rest of my family! The Gospel has blessed us so much and has brought us closer together and I would be lost without it.  I Know that families are forever because I know the Plan of Salvation is real.  

I have a testimony of my Heavenly Father.  I know he loves me and I know he is the Father of My Spirit.  I am so grateful that I can go to him in prayer anytime I want and talk to him about anything and everything. I am so grateful that he provided a way for us to become like him and return to be with him and our families for the eternities. I know the only way back is through his Son Jesus Christ and I am so grateful he sent him here to Atone for our Sins.  I love my Savior and I know he lives.  One of the ways I know he loves me too is because he has called Prophets to lead and guide us.  He has also provided the Book of Mormon that we can study from to draw closer to him.  I know The Book of Mormon is the Word of God and I am so grateful I get to read it everyday.  I love you all so much and I love this chance I have to be a full time missionary!

Just Enjoy the Moments! :)

Hi Guys! :) I honestly do not even know where to begin...

This past week was one I will never forget!  There were so many Spiritual and Sacred experiences that happened and I feel very humbled and blessed to be a full-time missionary and to be serving in the Canada Vancouver Mission.  I love my mission more than words could ever express.  On Saturday My entire mission and I had the blessed opportunity to be in the midst with an Apostle of the Lord for several hours.  Elder D Todd Christofferson along with Elder Aidukitus, Elder Christensen, Bishop Causse, and President and Sister Tilleman, Shook each of our hands and bore powerful testimonies to us of the Restored Gospel, The Book of Mormon, Charity, God's Love, Jesus Christ and much more.  It was so sacred and real and I know that each of these people are men of God.  I know that God has called prophets once again to the earth and that he leads and guides us. I know that the Book of Mormon is the convincing evidence that we have prophets and I know this book is the word of God.  I know and believe that Jesus Christ is my Savior and I know that he lives.  I know that families can and will be together forever in God's Presence by virtue of our Obedience and I know that we can all achieve exaltation. 

Thank you so much for all the love and support you show to me each and every week.  I have the best friends and family in the world! :) As incredible as this week was, I was really, really, really, really sick! such a bummer! Don't worry, I don't think anyone cared that I was carrying around a throw-up bucket to all my meetings and looked like a zombie! haha my pride wouldn't let me throw-up thank goodness.  Luckily I am going to the Doctors and am starting to go to physio Therapy and all the lovely stuff! I am very cared for out here so don't you fret.

Ummmmmmm......... I'm not sure what to share... What do you want to know? two weeks ago one of my investigators took two sacrament cups cuz she was hot and then she was like, "Am I allowed to have two?" I told her not really and she just shrugged and said, "awh well double the blessings!"  hahaha she's crazy! ummm.... We have a GPS and We represent this bird.. I hate that bird. It's always freaking out and I always get mad at it! We named it Apa. haha yip yip. 

oh so like you know how everyone and their dog is Asian here in Richmond? yeah well trying to help them understand what we are saying is such a joke so the other day we were at this Chinese person's door and she obviously could not speak a lick of English so I just held up this picture of Jesus and for like one whole minute we just stood there smiling and then she finally understood and we gave her the card. haha story of my life. it was funny. had to be there

Ok, so at my phyiso the doctor told me to pretend my head was like a scoop of ice cream and I was like, "what flavor?" and he was like "Rum Raisin" and than I told him that was disgusting and then he told this huge long story about how it's good and it had nothing to do with anything haha the point was that my head is like the ice cream and my neck is like the ice cream cone and I can't let the Ice cream fall off the Cone so I have to stand straight. ha well that is all I have time for....
